Golden Galápagos
Luxury Cruises

We were recruited to transmit an ethos, ‘the Golden Touch’ in an iconic
destination with multiple interpretations and competitors.

We embarked with the Golden Galapagos team and crafted this digital experience showing their 4 luxury cruises sailing the Galapagos Islands in 54 unique routes. The biggest challenge lies in showcasing a large offer in a sleek experience that helps their audiences find the route that suits them better.

Don’t tell me you are different, show me.

We clicked instantly with this story. Two young Ecuadorian women with twenty years of experience in luxury cruises create their own company from scratch. This ‘Golden Touch’ has all the ingredients of a successful small luxury venture: local creators, passion, experience, and a unique way of interpreting an iconic destination.

The Strategy

With the insight of the Golden Galapagos commercial department, we worked intensely to group the 54 routes into 4 expeditions. Each expedition suites a style of traveler, and travel length.

Animals, textures, and colors were meticulously chosen for each expedition.
UI showcasing video and detailed information helps to compare at a glance.

One of Golden Galapagos’ key selling points is Amazing Wildlife Encounters. We created this tailor-made interactive map showcasing the location of paradigmatic Galapagos species.

You can follow each route day by day with rich information.

through all the options in very few clicks.

DESIGN BASIS

Art Direction: photography and video

Be different.
Be real.

An unapproachable room or deck does not transmit the real experience of life on board.
Make our users imagine how mornings will be in their cabins, and how nights in the ocean are magical.

We crafted a mood board for photographers and video creators to add a new depth to Golden Galapagos storytelling.

The key to this design is balance. Sleek fonts combined with maximalism on photo collages, lush colors in photography and video in contrast with an adjusted color scheme.
