From the lush floors of the Amazon to the volcanic slopes of Costa Rica, the jungle is more than a setting—it’s a force. In our collaborations with Awasi Iguazú, Nayara Resorts, and La Selva Eco Lodge, we were called to honor this force. Each of these hospitality projects asked for something different—branding, digital presence, or storytelling—but all demanded one thing: design that breathes with the forest.
This is how we approached the jungle: not with restraint, but with intention. With color, boldness, and respect for every leaf, sound, and story.
Designing for the Jungle
The jungle isn’t minimal—and neither is the experience of staying within it.
Designing for these properties meant embracing complexity: layering visuals, movements, and narrative with the same care and abundance that nature does. Across all three projects, we embraced a maximalist language—vibrant, expressive, and immersive—carefully shaped to remain elegant and intentional.
This wasn’t about adding more. It was about revealing what’s already there.
Awasi Iguazú
A strong brand identity doesn’t just repeat itself—it adapts, expands, and resonates across places. For Awasi, we believe each destination should express its own ethos while belonging to a larger, cohesive brand ecosystem.
We created the handwritten Awasi logo as a mark of its identity, a gesture of timelessness and presence. For Iguazú, we built a complete visual universe: from color palettes rooted in the jungle to hand-illustrated maps, storybooks, and kids’ binnacles designed to inspire discovery. We’ve crafted every brand touchpoint—newsletters, fact sheets, in-room collaterals, and guest materials—with the same philosophy that defines the property itself: meaningful, immersive, and deeply personal.
Nayara Resorts
Nayara Resorts in Costa Rica—Nayara Springs, Nayara Gardens, and Nayara Tented Camp—are all nestled in the Arenal region, beneath the watchful silhouette of a volcano. Each hotel is distinct, yet united by a shared ethos: a deep immersion in nature.
For these properties, we designed three distinct yet cohesive websites. Each one contains more than 100 curated images—hand-cut and subtly animated to reflect the organic care that goes into every space.
The digital journey mirrors the guest experience: soft, indulgent, layered. It’s not just about booking a stay; it’s about stepping into a world.
La Selva Eco Lodge
Located deep in Ecuador’s Amazon, La Selva Eco Lodge is a sanctuary of both biodiversity and purpose. Our work here focused on crafting a digital experience that could inspire and convert—without compromising the serenity of the place.
With bold digital illustrations, sweeping visual moments, and clear UX architecture, the website tells a story of conservation through beauty. Each species, color, and interaction was a way to say: this is worth protecting.
Bold by Nature
Designing for the jungle is not about being loud—it’s about being alive. In these projects, maximalism is not a style—it’s a language. A way to tell stories that match the richness of the settings they represent.
From immersive illustrations to layered backgrounds, unexpected menu structures, and color palettes that dare to be different, every visual decision is made to deepen the narrative. We don’t follow trends—we follow the essence of the place, trusting instinct and insight over convention.
Crafting these experiences takes more than talent—it takes trust. That’s our strength at Big Partners: walking alongside our clients, encouraging bold choices, and building the kind of design that reflects who they truly are. These jungle ventures are proof that when a place pulses with life, its digital identity must do the same.
